Research

We are a virology lab interested in drug development.

Our projects include:

  • From plants to drugs: Developing novel antivirals based on natural-product compounds against coronaviruses.

  • Host-targeting antivirals: Identifying and developing novel broad-spectrum host-targeting antivirals against coronaviruses.

  • Tackling norovirus: Investigating disinfection using a novel catalyst system.

We have also collaborated with other research groups on:

  • Environmental stability of coronaviruses: Investigating the stability and survival of coronaviruses on various surfaces.

  • Antiviral products: Assessing the efficacy of antiviral or disinfection products against viruses.

  • Novel drug delivery systems: Developing and evaluating systems to deliver drugs and/or vaccines to cells.

You can find our list of publications, and more about our current lab members.
